A dog was barking until 4am, woke up very tired.
Went to Kevinn, oops, they follow the shala schedule of no service on moon days. Walked down to Tina's (a 10-15 minute walk) where I ate Porridge. Met some friends and chatted.
Ate lunch with a friend at Anu's. Talked to someone there about their laptop. They bought an Acer model from the computer technician who services the Internet cafe's computers. I found out that Acer makes similar priced laptops to the ones in America by cutting down on the feature set. I do not want a laptop that is inferior to one I could buy in America.
I had the bicycle fixed (haven't been able to ride it with insufficient air in tire) today. I was told the bike shop across from the coconut stands (which is 5 minutes from where I live) is the place to take the bicycle. Of course this wasn't the case (this shop fixes scooters and motorbikes), I had to cycle down the road to the bicycle shop. They oiled the moving parts, adjusted the brakes for 5 rupees (it would have been cheaper I am sure (I think 1 rupee), but I handed him 5 rupees and suddenly that was the charge... no matter, it was ridiculously cheap either way)
I finished reading The Alchemist last night - it has a nice message, but it is in too much of a dream/fantasy world for me to take anything from it... shame really...

Oh I brought toothpaste from America (last minute purchase) Aquafresh Extreme clean with empowermint (158.7g) (try saying that with a mouthful of this toothpaste)... it is a mega large tube of paste and only a small sliver is required, so it will last the whole trip and maybe even the next year too! (assuming you don't want the sink to be cleaned too) ( http://www.dentist.net/aquafresh-extreme-empowermint.asp )and it really does seem to whiten the teeth... possible negative, it has fluoride...
