Twentyfourth Ashtanga practice

Since it is Saturday I must arrive at the shala @ 7:15am (just remember Shala clock is set 15 minutes fast, so it was really 7:00am)
Saraswati helped with all the usual asanas.
With the advanced backbend, Saraswati let me half way down, then the 3rd time fully to the floor and then asked me to walk my hands in towards my feet.
I found out due to Saraswati counting the breaths for me that the Navasana (boat pose) series requires the body to be held up (with legs crossed) for one breath only ( lolasana http://ashtangayoga.info/asana-vinyasa/primary-series/index.html ), I had been holding lolasana for 5 breaths! So that is Navasana 5 times and then Lolasana 5 times each 5 breaths. This time it was really easy!
I am no nearer to completing Bhujapindasana as I was yesterday... it is hard to keep the feet off the floor for the whole vinyasa.

I picked up the bicycle today, the person told me and can take the bicycle to be oiled! You would think it would be in good working condition but it wasn't. Mind you it wasn't in bad condition either. The bicycle renter also sells books (which he wanted 20 rupees more for "shipping cost" hahaha yeah like I would pay that) so I bought Moola Bandha and Surya Namaskar book (the latter I kind of regret, but it was only 80 rupees)

We (myself and 3 others) took two Rikshaws up the road for Lunch at 'Geetas house', a local who serves delicious homemade food on request (only we didn't let them know and the owner was away, so the person who served us didn't speak very much English and of course this complicated matters). We ate white rice, yellow dal, chapatis, and two other dishes that I didn't recognise but that were delicious... all of this for 60 rupees (~45 rupees = $1).
